Community Guidelines
Neon Arcana is a live competitive arena with text and voice chat. These rules keep it fair, safe, and welcoming for everyone.
These guidelines apply to everything you do in Neon Arcana — matches, chat, voice, callsigns, and anything you share. They work alongside our Terms of Service (the binding agreement) and Privacy Policy. Breaking them can cost you chat, your account, or both.
The rules
- Treat people with respect. No harassment, hate speech, threats, bullying, or targeting someone for who they are.
- Keep it lawful and age-appropriate. No illegal activity, and no graphic or sexual content. Sexual content involving minors is never allowed (see below).
- Protect privacy. Don't share personal information — yours or anyone else's — in chat, voice, or callsigns. No doxxing.
- Play fair. No cheating, bug exploits, botting, rank boosting, account sharing, or interfering with other players' matches.
- No spam or scams. No advertising, phishing, link-dropping, or trying to trick players out of accounts or money.
- Pick a clean callsign. Names that are hateful, harassing, impersonating, or obscene will be reset.
Child safety — zero tolerance
Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and any sexualization of a minor are absolutely prohibited. There are no exceptions and no warnings for this.
When we find it, we remove the content, ban the account, preserve the relevant evidence, and report it to the appropriate authorities as required by law.
If you see anything that endangers a child, report it immediately: in the app, tap the ⚑ Report control on a message and choose “Child safety / exploitation.” It is the first reason listed and routes to a priority review queue. You can also email [email protected].
Voice chat
Voice chat is friends and party only — you can only be heard by people in your party. There is no open public or random-opponent voice. Your audio is transmitted live to your party and is not recorded or stored.
Keep voice respectful: the rules above apply to what you say out loud too — no harassment, hate speech, threats, sexual content, or anything that endangers a minor. You can mute yourself, mute an individual teammate, leave voice or the party at any time, and block or report a player from your party or from recent players after a match.
Reporting & blocking
- Report: tap the ⚑ flag on any chat message to report it and pick a reason. Child-safety reports are prioritized.
- Block: block any player to stop seeing their messages. It’s reversible and invisible to them; manage blocks in your Account panel.
- Can’t report in-app? Email [email protected].
What happens when rules are broken
Depending on what happened and how serious it is, we may apply:
- A warning, or having a callsign or message removed.
- A temporary chat/voice mute, or losing chat and voice access.
- Temporary suspension or permanent termination of your account.
Child-safety and credible-threat violations are actioned immediately and may be reported to authorities. How we handle accounts and enforcement is described in our Terms of Service. Questions about a moderation decision? Email [email protected].
